The village of Coltishall is situated some 6 miles North of Norwich on the B1150 Norwich to North Walsham road. On reaching Norwich take the A1042 ring road following the signs to Wroxham. The B1150 junction with the ring road is at a roundabout between the Cromer (A140) and Wroxham (A1151) junctions. After Horstead the B1150 crosses the river Bure and then turns sharply left into the center of Coltishall village, continue on the B1150 towards North Walsham and you will find The Old Railway Station B&B sign on your left.

The Old Railway Station Coltishall is probably the only B&B in the country with a seasonal, narrow gauge, rail service direct to its door. So if you wish to have this unique experience, take a train to Norwich, then the Bittern Line service to Wroxham and transfer to the adjacent Bure Valley Railway for their line to Aylsham and alight at the Coltishall halt for The Old Railway Station B&B. Visit the onerailway.com for details of trains to Wroxham. Also Visit the bitternline.com for more information.

From Norwich take the service to Wroxham and North Walsham. There is a bus stop near the entrance to the Old Railway Station.

The river Bure is navigable to pleasure cruisers as far as the Eastern edge of Coltishall village where there are overnight moorings. If you wish to spend a night ashore then The Old Railway Station B&B is only a short walk through the village following the signs to North Walsham.
